    What size injectors?

    mods and car in sig.

needing to upgrade the injectors soon since im seeing duty cycle% in the lower 80's...plus thinking of dropping to at least a 2.8 and an xp cam.

    so....42.5 or 60's?

I have plenty of wiggle room running 42.5's with a 3.0" pulley.

IIRC, with the 3.0 pulley at the end of the 1/4 I was running about 17.5ms IPW. This was the max IPW I saw looking at about 4 runs. This was at Silver Dollar Raceway with an altitude of about 450 ft above sea level (that makes a difference).

How high are your IPWs now?

    Lq4

Attached is my current MAF table (for your LQ4) and my IFR table. Just import the IFR table when you install your injectors. The IFR should work as-is, and the MAF should be a decent starting point.

Edit - I'm just gonna attach my current VCM file. Use what you want

    Edited for VCM file change

This is after i pasted the lq4 maf file that you have on post #8 to my current maf file....and also there are not enough numbers to go in the spaces on the maf table...in other words there are more numbers in the file that you gave me than in the hpt table..i dont imagine the car would even run with numbers this high...and also compare the numbers in your bin file right now to the numbers in the maf file you provided me with...maybe i dont know how to read them or something...

and if you still dont understand take cell 1500 for example-

your bin in hpt it is .030 vs. the first number in the lq4 maf table you provided me with...wich would be 2.29688 or 2.29 using the same amout of decimels as the above example

    Am I still missing something??

I don't know man, it works here. Maybe someone else can shed some lighton what happened. The first one you posted (post #10) looks right.

What did you do different? The file name on the top of each of your screen shots shows the same file (XP startup bin.hpt).

heh...more problems...when i try to change the injector table to what you have in post 8 all the values go to 7.94...no lower...tryied it copying and pasteing it and munually clicking the value and changing just that one....

also something i noticed...on the max torque table for the tq management....the rpm vs. gear for example...it says min 0 and max 640....but on your bin file you have 1240 in some spots i belive...in my table i cannot go higher than 640....i dont know what the hell is going on

so im only suppose to be going to 11500 on the maf table with the numbers correct...just kinda confused me when ppl say you are maxing out a stock one at 11500 but dont go to a higher range with the lq4

should i not be adding to the injector table? or increasing the numbers?...if i put the values in that you gave me then the numbers would be lower than stock...it says in hpt.....''min 7.9 max infinity lb/hr''...for this table

The table is correct for the 42.5 injectors.

Lowering the IFR numbers tell the PCM it takes less time to flow the same amount of fuel. All things being equal, if it takes (rough numbers) 250 ms to flow 1 gram of fuel with 36# injectors, it would only take 211.75 ms to flow that same amount with 42.5# injectors.

Also, I used different software for some of the changes in that file. There are several tables that are not supported by any tuner I know of (I know for a fact that HPTuner and PT don't support many of them).

The MAF and IFR tables should work with your car (99 GTP) without a problem
