    08 Mustang GT JLT CAI.

Well Im having trouble tuning blind for my JLT cold air intake. HP Tuners is awesome for GM, we got my friends vette to run faster. I was able to drop 4 tenths on my GT, but i know I can run faster with the CAI. Its the simplest mod. Would anyone out there have a sample tune for a CAI?

For the JLT CAI, you need to increase your MAF transfer #/min column by approx. +30% over stock. Once you do this, then fine tune the MAF transfer.

    I'll try this. thank you.

Thanks I was able to get +/- 7%-9% STFTs by tuning the MAF. Man I could feel the difference with the JLT CAI. Now all I need are my gears installed and I'll be all set for now.

You can just email JLT and they will give you the correct MAF transfer for the intake.

This is the response I got from them today.

We don't do the tuning and don't work with HP tuners.
    Sorry

Sounds like they are a helpful company. LOL! I will have to try this as I have a friend who changed his filter out on his S&B for an un MAF restricted filter and picked up another 8rwhp after tuning for the filter change.

Yeah tell me about it. Would still like to get the MAF more accurate, if I could only get the correct MAF Transfer for my CAI.

Thanks Eric, I've made it a TXT file so anyone can use this via the table import feature.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Thanks for this. I wasn't too off, but this made it perfect.

You may want to consider zero'ing out your MAF Compensation Table, FYI.
