Thread: VE Tuner software

    VE Tuner software

I've been working on a little piece of software to try and make VE tuning a bit more accurate. This software attempts to filter as much of the transient states as it can. I'm going to be up front and admit that I don't know nearly the amount as some people on here, but I'm making an attempt.

I returned my VE table back to stock and got it nearly finished in an hour or so. Had to perform some code tweaks in the middle of tuning which took up most of my time.

Here is the link to a blog entry about the software.

I would love to hear some feedback and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

You sure this is YOUR software or is this ShoddyHog's software?

Definitely mine; His is LS2 only and is written in Access/VB. This is written in C# and is currently only LS1.

Thanks for thinking I stole someone's software and tried to play it off as my own though.

Cool, perhaps more instructions on how to use it for the people who may not perceive what to export from HPTuners in a csv to import to your program.

Sure, I'll write up something hopefully by tomorrow.

I am watching this too. I downloaded the needed stuff however I am not sure how to get a CSV file or what one even is. I did get the chart to load and it looked pretty neat!

To get the CSV file, after you're done logging you click on Scan -> Export Data.

Make sure you're logging the following PIDS:
    Engine Speed RPM
    Vehicle Speed mph
    TPS %
    Wideband AFR
    and AFR Commanded

Thats the basics, but I'm still working on a little guide.

It would be impossible for him to have my software because I've never given the source code to anyone.
