Serial number won't change

I have gotten another cable from HP tuners as my first was stolen. The serial number from the first cable keeps popping up in the info screen and it won't get rid of it. i have tried uninstalling HP tuners all together and reinstalling and there is no change. How do i get the new serial number in so i can use the new app key?

I installed 2.2 and it fixed the problem.... my computer just wouldn't let it load framework 2.0.. kept saying it had it already.

For future knowledge if you connect your NEW interface with the NEW serial number & enter your NEW application key it will automatically update your serial number
