Can it be done in a 2008 Silverado that had a 5.3L engine???

A very good friend already has the 4L80E installed in the truck, but will it work just fixing his file, or should we need to swap VCM and/or VCM??? (engine is 408" with a Procharger F1 and 18 lbs boost)

We need all the help we can get...

No. On the 08's you have to reprogram the TCM as it's a separate computer. TECH2 is the only way.

Thanks for your answer, I've seen you are the one that's always helping...

I have a good friend down here (Guadalajara, México) with the TECH2, so ¿Do you think that all we need is to program the TCM with TECH2 through ALDL with a 4L80E file? Are there any 2007-2008 (with TCM) SIlverados running with 4L80s yet? (I'm asking so many questions because I'm the one that suppose to know more about tunning down here...)

Ratz, ya chopped off the most important part of the VCM Suite Info file:
    VIN & Segment Numbers...

You have to be connected to the vehicle to get the VCM Suite Info for that vehicle.
Send me an email with your complete VCM Suite Info file and I'll get right on it for you.

    BTW: U got mail...

EC Tune, did you get the e-mail I sent you? It was from either cppd_114 or dsgraham, I can not remember which one I sent it from. Thanks again.
