Is this possible within hptuner? The current workaround is to replace the light sensor in the dash with a resistor, but I'd much rather do a more elegant and easily reversible fix in software.
Thanks!

00 C5 - full bolt-ons. Tuned with hptuners and an lm-1.
On my 2002 C5 I can disable automatic headlights. You go to options on the dash and push on the options button and when you come to automatic headlights you turn it off on the display.
What year C5 do you have?
2018 GMC Denali A8 6.2L
2016 CTS-V
2016 C7 Z06 A8
2016 C7 Z06/Z07 A8 vert
2015 Chevy SS 6.2 LS3 A6
1996 Impala SS LT1 CAI
1995 Chevy 1500 5.3 CAI Z06 cam
1957 Chevy vert
Thanks for the response. I'm in a 00 FRC. My DIC doesn't allow that option to be changed.
(Edit: Thanks anyway - it's a Canadian car. It's a regulation in the great white north, I reckon. )

Yup. Unfortunately Canadians don't have the Twilight Sentinal "OFF" option thanks to the Candadian gov't.

I was able to set up the BCM with a tech II to disable the auto headlamps. The Canadian option is Z49, so when setting up the BCM, say no to this option. Now I can disable the auto headlamps with the DIC like a USA car.
If all else fails, just remove the #44 relay from the instrument fuse panel.

AHA! I knew a Canadian would have the proper method!
