Thread: Which Wideband?

PLX SM-AFR, agree 100% with ShoddyHog. 0 setup/config/calib. problems. Just plug & play. I was on the verge of buying the LC-1 until I started reading about all the people on this forum having setup problems.

I took it out of the box on Saturday and installed the O2 sensor in my LG Pro headers. I then spent two days trying to use the programmer software in order to adjust the analog outputs. I tried 3 different laptops, 2 different usb-serial adapters, and 3 different PC's with serial ports. I called Innovate Motorsports and they are sending me a new serial cable to try out. I drove the C6 today and on a 20 minute ride to work the LM-1 got very hot...so hot the lcd screen got dark and hard to to read. Now I need to call Innovate back to see how they want to proceed with fixing the LM-1 itself.

I'm sure I just have a bad unit but its very frustrating.

That is odd, my unit never gets hot (unless it is sitting in direct sunlight, then the screen will get like that, which is normal).

The AFX can use either the Bosch sensor or the NGK/NTK Sensor

    yes

it's really different, but it's a LSU4 Standard sensor by NTK (not a bosch)
