I read the info on what you should do if your hp tuners unit is stolen. My question is what if i had 28 credits on the unit.... all used of course, could that app key get sent to my new one so that i would still have credit towards an unlocked unit?

No part of your unit is covered in the event of theft that means hardware, credits & software all needs to be repurchased. Your application key will ONLY work on the unit it was meant for.
