    2004 Ford F150

There's still alot of glitches with the vcm editor.... everytime I try change more then just the top speed, base borderline spark, tip in torque, pretty much the basics .. anything else an we get an engine failsafe mode ... whats up with the program?

Im pretty sure in all fords you must set the p0606 code to no error reported, its a Ford issue when reflashing ANYTHING to the pcm.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

plus the DTC doesn't show when the stock tune is on file.... and another thing, how come the scanner is "intermittant"??? its not as free flowing as the GM vehicles

Fords have a much lower frame rate than GM, we are working on our own solution to fix this but it'll take some time.

also remember the Ford throttle by wire is very picky to tune , you need to be very careful with the torque settings in the tune , and the mass air transfer has to be perfect
