Thread: how to convert slope & intercept to EIO input??

  1. #1

    Question how to convert slope & intercept to EIO input??

    I have a 5v fuel pressure sensor connected to my Aeroforce Interceptor gauge, the conversion formula that I entered into the Interceptor is:
    slope=31.9
    Intercept=-9.7

    as far as I understand, this means (volts*31.9)-9.7

    Is there a way to convert this calculation into the EIO input formula??
    (volts/#)+#

    Thanks

    I received this reply from Aeroforce in case anyone else needs to do this:

    For HP Tuners it would be v/.031347 + (-9.7).

    Mathematically, that's the same as what you had in your first message. Give 'er a go!

    HPT only accepts 4 digits after the decimal place.
    But other than that it works like a hot damn!!
