    Possible heat issues LC1?

I hooked up my LC-1 back in early March. It is placed right before the CAT on my Supercharged Monte Carlo. I kept getting the Innovative E08 error which means sensor overheating. Is it likely the cause? I bought another sensor, but I am not going to install it until I get the heatsink for the sensor. My root question is: Would my V6 with a supercharger exhaust reach temps > 900 degrees? I have a 3" DP w/ high flow CAT. Full exhaust. TIA

spend $75 on the HBX1 heat bung extender from innovate...
you will need it or the heat will kill the sensors

I'd also highly recommend the HBX-1...my LC-1 is installed full-time in my driver's side header collector, and I've never had an issue, even with hard driving. Granted, that's not quite the same as an FI car, but still...it ain't exactly cold there either.

yes..hbx works on any of the widebands that use the same bosch sensor...
its possible it also works on the NTK sensor as well...but I havent tried it yet

    I would try it...
    I own one
I'd even go as far as telling you to buy 2..try one on the narrowband and one on the wideband and see what happens...and thne report back

and I'm really not convinced about the PLX accuracy right now

I've recently been asked about possibly beta testing for Innovate and have seen a comparison against a $2000 multi gas wideband and I am convinced of the accuracy of the LC1/LM1 devices
