    converting KPa to PSI

    Hello again

I followed the HPT help instructions to set up new PID to display MAP in PSI. I chose the [SENS.30.IMP]-14.5 function and then logged a robust run afterwards. When analysing the log the new PID reading never moved out of a negative range which is clearly incorrect. My boost controller revealed I peaked @ 12psi. Also, the standard MAP 2bar KPa PID on the table indicated a max of 26.5psi (I assume take 14.5 from this which leaves 12psi - ie consistent with the boost controller reading).

Hence I am unsure why the newly created PID is not working. I thought I would check the function (to see if I made a transposition error) but cant seem to access it. I might try the other version and see how it goes. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    thanks

go to the table display and right click, insert.

Then go to Configure User Defined, you will be able to check your fn.

Make sure you don't have any other MAP PID's in the table display and you didn't define your boost PID as a sensor.
