Using 2.1.16 VCM control, i could not lock the car into 3rd gear for a dyno run, the button would go green but the car would shift back to second anyway. Would be nice to get it fixed.

have you tried the newest version .18? If not try that first...its a free download to all.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

We did the tune on the 2nd April, two days before 2.1.18 was released. I checked the fixes and it was not listed. Will try with 2.1.18 and let you know but it could be a while..... next service.Originally Posted by foff667

we have had a few reports of this, seems to vary between calibrations. There are some limits in the TCM that i need to add to the editor.

Curious, was it an A4 or A6? I assume A4.
