    408 Idle Logs

I just finished wrapping up a 408 stroker into my c5 Corvette. it has 11.5:1 compression, PRC 237cc heads, BTR 400+ NA V2 cam. 6 speed car, still have stock LS6 intake and throttle body, stock injectors. New injectors will be in tomorrow.

So far its running pretty good, I know it will take some time to get the idle and driveabilty perfect. Mainly just posting up so someone can check out my logs and make sure I'm not missing anything major. I've bumped the idle spark, BRAF tables, did a little SD tuning, bumped idle speed to 1050. car starts perfectly cold but hot you have to give a little throttle and a quick rev usually results in stalling when returning to idle.

Previous tune and idle log, short drive with high idle while rolling and some stalling and recranking

Might as well wait until the new injectors are in. You'll be undoing and doing before and after.

What injectors? Name brand and size?

I bought Deatschwerks 800cc injectors. They're half the price of ID1050x and they worked well on my Coyote car.

I wanted to get it running with some of the stock stuff because the last 5 cars I've tried to help people tune have had incorrect injector data and I didn't want to be guessing about why its running bad or whatnot. They also all tried to use factory injectors out of some other engine and I am starting to realize that is usually a PITA.

You really need a wideband with a cam like this.

You should also log short term idle trims and long. STIT and LTIT

I've had good luck wiht the Deatschwerks injectors.

I have a wideband but it doesn't always work on the scanner. Its really like 50/50 if it will show up on the log. It reads a little lean at idle but there is also alot of overlap so I kind of expect that.

I though I was logging all of the idle adaptive stuff.

Just noticed I didn't have the STIT AND LTIT logged, sorry. I just added them to my channels for next time I crank it up.

Here is a current tune with the new injectors and more pids active, still couldn't get the wideband to read on the scanner.
Idles/catches idle ok (not good) with a/c off. Just dies with the a/c on.

I tried switching to SD to tune the VE table and I can't get the car to stay running without the MAF on.

Going to be trying a couple things tonight.

Is there any way to get around the O2 sensors at idle? I feel like with the overlap they could read incorrectly and the fuel trims will try to compensate when they don't need to. Or maybe I am wrong and my fueling is just off by that much.
