    Idle hang after rev

    P59

    stock everything, DBW 2003 truck.

Ive looked through pages in here and found many different suggestions on how to make that rev idle hang less, or completely gone.

Ive watched video's, and it seems they all contradict each other at some point.

For example, I go WOT with pedal, engines climbs in the RPMs I let off around 4k and it sits there and slowly comes back to an idle.

What is the preferred method to mimic the throttle rev of a carbureted engine?

    1. adjusting the 'Proportional and Integral' sections?
    2. zeroing out lower portions of the throttle cracker?

Or is there something else completely?

Thank you for any suggestions or comments..

please post your tune otherwise its useless. Also if your truck is stock you really shouldnt be adjusting anything other than fuel, torque management, and spark. thats my opinion but again post the tune for a more specific answer

although i agree with you, its not needed in this case.
I'm asking for the preferred method to get a snappy throttle.

Simply zeroing out an entire section, to me, seems sloppy.

So, what have you done? Or what is your recommendations?

My suggestion is post a file and data log and let's see how it's setup and what it's doing.
