    nasty 6L slip?

trying to chase down a very noticeable surge in power (bucking sensation) while doing a pull in 5th and 6th gear. i do not think its engine management related, i noticed the TRANS SLIP RPM pid has a very large negative value (what does this mean?) ...while both manually applying the tcc and unlocked tcc.

here is my current tune file 2nd dyno maf20 trans CATheatoff idlecoasttiming lowered minair10 dfco off brafetcmult.hpt

here is a pull with no tcc apply pressure (2:01 mins) trans slip 1.hpl

here is a pull in 4th with tcc applied (3:45 mins) trans slip tcc on.hpl

just trying to rule this out as a variable so i can continue my diagnosis. thank!

Are you trying to do WOT with the TCC locked with a stock or single disk converter, or do you have a high-dollar triple billet bad mofo which was actually built to do that?

It’s just a single disk, not normally locked during WOT, did that to see if my surging/bucking issue changed. Do you know what a negative trans slip rpm means?

That surge would be your trans downshifting at the log marks mentioned

Not enough transmission PIDs recorded to know what could be causing this, but with the very few pertinent PIDs logged, it looks like hte converter stall speed fluctuates up and down when this happens for some reason. It "might" also be a bind, but without the rest of the sensors reading I can't say for sure. Here's a channel config file with all the PIDs I would need selected. If you could take a new log with all those in there it would help a lot.
