So I have a HPT-6021 PRO - GM that i bought about 10-11 years ago.. It Has always worked, I dont use it often, but i have never had an issue. A couple weeks ago I flashed a trans tune in my suburban and it only seemed to recognize the HP tuners in my USB port after like 8-10 mins ... I thought it was strange but didnt think much of it.. Last week I went to plug into another truck to do a DOD delete and my laptop will not recognize the cable ... I figured this must have been my cable or laptop... since then I have replaced both sides of the cable and no change. When I plug other stuff into my lap top it will notify me, Just not the Hp tuners. Please help. Is it possible the "box" itself went bad?
