    58 reluctor sensor to 24

I have a grey 58 sensor engine and I want to run my 24 sensor 2001 ecu , can I swap sensors and it run? Is there away change in hp tuners in the ecu? Thanks

Not that simple. You need to swap the reluctor wheel on the crankshaft and swap the cam gear. It's not easy and it's not cheap to do.

And that's only those to things that are different, we haven't even talked about the wiring changes and knock sensor placement, wiring etc etc.

Get the correct GEN 3 engine if you want to run a GEN 3 computer like that P01.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

LPE makes a box that works well for this.

Mechanically it?s easy and cheap for me to swap to a 24x and 1x cam gear, I was just wondering if hp tuners had the capability to reprogram as it would be easier to just hit a button, and yes I know there is a converter box out there for 300 bucks but I own Hp tuners

The answer to your question is no, there is NOT a button to flip, change etc. to change from one to the other. If there was there would be no need for the 300 box by Lingenfelter.
