    6.0 swapped 2003 cateye with truck norris cam

    as the title states just swapped a 6.0 into a 2003 cateye. stock bottom end with truck norris cam as only upgrade atm. everything is fine as far as starting and the swap is all done but i am trying to get a tune loaded that will make it idle and get enough airflow it needs for that cam. i figured i could just go into the primary VE table and give it like 5% and up the idle slightly and it would idle fine. that doesnt seem to be working great. can anyone give some help as to how to at least getting idling better? or does anyone have a 6.0 tune file i could upload to get it to idle. i am new to hp tuners btw.

    for starters just add about 3-4g/s to your base airflow table to get it up and running. Raise idle to about 650rpms.

    This is a 6.0 swap into place of a 5.3 FlexFuel, correct? LQ4 or LQ9? Did you re-use the Flex injectors?

    this was actually a 2003 4.3 V6 swapped to a 6.0. the engine came from a 2001 yukon xl, and the harness and ecu are from a 2003 tahoe 5.3 with a 4l60e. harness and ecu need to be 03+ to work in truck. its an lq4 and the injectors are from the 5.3 tahoe.

    yeah ill have to get a log of it tomorrow. adding the 15% to the VE table helped but still wants to die, esp when revving slightly and letting off, the rebound it wants to die. also i dont see a secondary VE table where is that? sorry im super new to tuning.

    Try this out. LQ4 with 33lb Flex injectors. It's setup for SD tuning. Let's see a log.
