I have just completed a swap on a 2008 Sierra . Removed the 5.3 and 4l80 and replaced it with a ly6 6.0 and 4l80. I used the adapter harness from ICT Billet and have everything running.
So this is my question. I see the only gen 4 6.0/4l80 combos were in 08 and 09 express vans. I cannot find a file in the repository that matches my OS. What are my options? My ecu os is 12617631 and my tcu os is 24239927. Any ideas? Thank you.
The TCM OS has to match to do a segment swap, not the ECM OS. Use the 2008 Express 4.8L/4L80 repository file, it has TCM OS 24239927.
