    CMP retard PID

Im sorry if this has been already discussed but in searching I found nothing newer than 2018 on the subject. I have a GM based PCM that I would like to look at the CMP retard value on but cant find the PID in the scanner. Am I overlooking it or is it just not there? I read several posts on where to find it and add it but I am unable to find it anywhere. If it is not there, could it be added? Ive got a brand new Blueprint 383 MPI sitting in my truck that wont run right and I have a hunch that the cam retard is not right. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What pcm? usually when you hook up vcm scanner it will pull info off the pcm. Figure out what pcm it is then you can add channels as you see fit. Click add channel. I use the text filter a lot. Type in cam angle or angle or cam see what pops up. I have a feeling your engine does not have vvt usually cam angle pids dont exist in pcms that dont have vvt.
