Get unknown error code 8A

Hello,
I have a 07 Colorado that I'm trying to tune. Load all my HP tuner stuff onto new laptop.
Pull the stock file off the truck
Purchase Lisc update key on cable and make tune changes
Go to reload tune and it times out (bootleg timed out)
Tech support tells me it is a car issue, so I do some checking pull fuses and relays and such. Iet the cable to do a "write only" on the truck and try to do a "write entire" on high speed or slow speed. Finally, I get a "unknow error code 8A"
The vechicle will not start or crank now

Any help would be great! Thanks in advance

Typically a battery or wiring issue with the vehicle. This guy had a dakota digital air ride system that was interfering just as an example.
