    64 c-10 swap tune help.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, my name is Richie and I'm brand new to the forum. I won't bore you all with the sob story, but I received traumatic brain injury about 10 years ago so everything is kind of fuzzy nowadays.

    ------------------------------------

I'm trying to wrap up a swap in a 64 C10 stepside. I bought MPVI almost 8 years ago and never got around to tuning anything. (I'm retarded, so I went with Holley).

The truck has an lm7, high volume oil pump, BTR truck norris, springs, valve seals, shorty headers running to true duals.

I have been doing some lurking on the forums, but information retention is not my strong suite. Would any of you upstanding citizens have a chance to look over my tune and log file? And I guess hold my hand through the scary woods....

**I truly hope that this post does not enrage anybody too badly. I attempted to attach the correct files, but if I messed up.... Your hair looks nice**

It's basically a stock tune with a few tweaks. Fuel and spark need work.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah the only thing I changed in that tune file was bumping the RPM up on the idle and MAF settings I believe. I'm literally an HP tuners virgin, and I'm assuming that my next step is driving the truck? Did you happen to take a look at the log file, I'm curious how things look to everybody else whenever I revved it a bit.

Yeah I looked at it. Like I said fueling is off. You should log injector pulsewidth per bank, IAC counts, mass airflow frequency, and spark retard.

Okay, this is a cold start from 75* f. It was a bear to start. Poor lil starter

I believe I have all the channels correct on log, but then again probably not.

    Idle was hanging a bit

    Oh my.
Them poor injectors are already maxed out on a stock 5.3. Adding cam and your going to be 100%+ IDC.

    That's better. Yep it's rich.

Start logging Idle Adapt STIT and LTIT.

    Don't forget to clear LTFT's.

Come up in rpm on the next. Include the revision level in your log filename to clear up any confusion. For example, the last one should have been percy641stHPTFtune_SD1.

Warning: the 17113553 injector is 1999-2000, file appears to have 2001-up injector data in it.
