Newb with VCM Scanner issue with gear ratio and revs per mile

I'm trying to adjust my gear ratio and tire size on a 21 Mustang GT.

I go into controls and special functions and I see this.Screenshot 2024-03-20 180637.png
It shows my current gear ratio being 494.08 which is not what I was expecting.
I enter a new value of 3.55 and hit next.
now it's asking for Tire revs per mile, and it shows my current value of something like 124, which seems odd.... those would be some really big tires.
So I enter my new value of 741.49 and then it says Failed to write settings.

Is there some weird conversion match I need to do?

I feel like I've searched all over for this and I can't find the answer.

I found where I can submit a ticket, but if anyone knows the answer, I would love to konw it.
