Anyone interested in buying a PLX wideband

There is a group purchase in the works here.
    http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...light=wideband

Details are not finalized yet but interest looks good and the price is expected to be under $250 for a PLX SM-AFR and gauge.

Details have been establised for this buy. Price ranges from $225-249 shipped, depending on the amount purchased. This is for the PLX SM-AFR & DM-5 Combo, which includes the gauge the module and 02 sensor!

That's awesome. I paid 200 just for the sensor. I didn't think I would really want a gauge, but I do now.

Profit sharing came in yesterday though so I'll probably get the DM-100 gauge

Yes the Group buy is legit.

I can't say if the PLX is better than any other unit, but I have not heard anyone have any complaints about the PLX unit, while I have heard of several people having problems with the sensor getting burned up on the lc1. I have not heard of any problems with the lm1, but it is more expensive and built to be a portable unit.

We only need about 20 more people to get these units for $225 shipped.

Also I updated the link above as the old like went inactive.

Yes it is still going on. You are welcome to call and place an order, the group buy is through EDO Performance--> edoperformance.com The only hold up on actually getting these at this time is waiting on PLX to manufacture them as it seems they can't keep up with demand. I believe they will be sent out directly from plx as soon as they have them ready.

does anyone have detailed instructions how to install the plx wideband? i can do the install, but i am not a text based learner... need pics and detailed instructions, the ones that come with the plx suck. dont know where to tap into for power, and more importantly why there are extra wires and stuff and what to do with them, and how to get the sensor into the cabin from under the car????

would be willing to pay someone with a plx take pictures and give me detailed instructions how to hook this thing up...
