Looking for a legitimate tuner to finish my tune

    1997 LT1 headers full exhaust 52 mm TB 0411 swap 4x

Long story short, my tune was started by a tuner It got late that evening while working on SD and idle issues so we stopped for the evening. I figured we would pick up the next day. I Reached out a couple different times with little or no response last tune file revision was sent to me was two weeks ago not sure if I made the tuner mad Or something else is going on it is what it is. I just want my car tune finished I've been working on learning myself but in the meantime I'd like to be able to drive my car with peace of mind please someone with the knowledge to help me out message me so we can work something out

Car currently runs pretty good real good when it's cold out. After it reaches operating temperature car will stall occasionally at red-lights and if you shut the car off and restart the idle hangs at around 1500 rpm had none of these issues with factory PCM just incorrect AFRs

How did you do the 411 swap? Eficonnection or torq head? Or did you try to keep the optispark and use a express van 5.7 file?

I kept the optispark and went with the 4x signal from crank sensor. Hopefully to avoid future optical sensor problems

The optispark distributors have other issues besides the optical sensor. They collapse if you don't hook up the vacuum and vent correctly. The caps have issues with spark jumping between the copper traces. It's best to eliminate them all together and run LS coils.

absolutely. not to mention it was discontinued by GM maybe close to 20 years ago now..

    Aftermarket is terrible for them.

I've done a ton of EFIconnection and torque head swaps. I won't get involved with them done like you have. Nothing personal.. There is just lots of odd things to handle like making sure cylinder assignments are right. I told another customer it's like re-inventing a complicated wheel.
