OS issue after being at dealer

    Hi everyone,

    First time posting here.
I have a 2012 Hsv with an LS3 and e38 that had a tune on it, only minor fuel and spark adjustments as the motor is standard.

After a recent trip to the dealer for a service some bright spark there decided to update the software in my ecu.

I want to reload my tune to the vehicle but the OS i have read is different to my original. Is there anything I can do here other than buy more credits and tune again?

Read out the current tune in the ECM, copy all differences from the old file into the current one, write.

If they updated your computer and flashed in the latest calibration offered through GM, then you can pretty much only do one thing, read out that new file and make changes to that.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I have read a copy out of it with the new OS.

Will I have to pay for more credits when writing it? Every calibration number is the same but main Os is different.

Hoping not as this will be the 3rd time i have had to buy credits for the same vehicle

If the VIN is still the same and the ECM hardware serial is still the same, I don't think it should. If it does you can ask in a Support ticket if they can help you out.

Alright it let me write it even with the different OS.

Found a couple of tables that were slightly different between the 2 OSs

    Thanks for your input guys!
