Can 2020 GT500 strategy be put on a 2020 mustang or truck ECU?

Contemplating using a gt500 type ecu on a build. Can a GT500 strategy be written to a 2020 truck or mustang ecu since they are both TC 298?

No, compelety different, needs TCM com unles you go MT trans but still a lot of questions...

Might work. You will have to run either Predator engine or do something(as we do in our 2gen>3gen swaps) with cams as Predator has completely different timing compared to 3 gen.

Veefour It would be on a 2017 gen 2. I know i would have to modify some of the the cam timing tables to resemble the gen 2 stuff. Just trying to figure out if i want to tackle that project.

No no no, there are no tables that you can modify in software to make a 3 gen engine running on 2 gen/GT500 PCM.

Im probably the only one that successfully run a 2nd gen engine with 3rd gen PCM - GT350 and regular GT. This is 10/10 on difficulty scale.

I have a 2017 gen 2 boosted mustang GT manual 6 speed that I want to run with a GT 500 strategy. Im wondering if the 2020 f150 ecu will take a GT500 strategy to use for this project.
