2008 Chrysler aspen

I have a quick question.

I have a 2008 Chrysler aspen that has a EGR performance code PO404

There was a TSB released for a fix which was a PCM software update.

I was wondering can I fix this with HPTuners? As well as have the added benefit of tuning the car as I learn?

Just a side note emissions testing is required in my state so must pass all readiness checks?

My 3 options to fix are as follows

1. Pay dealer $300 diag/update fee
2. Replace PCM $250 +/-
3. HPtuners (have a few other vehicles could use a tune as well)

What do you all think?
