    Question Fuel Injectors (NGC4)

    Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding Gen3 Hemi fuel injectors. My current injector DC is well over 80% (88-93) on WOT pulls which from what I understand is not "recommended".

Q: Should I swap my stock injectors for a DW 525cc? Note: I plan to go for LT headers and a cam soon.
If yes, how are the new injectors tuned/dialed in? These PCMs do not have an InjPW Vs Fuel Mass tab on the Editor.

Any ideas/suggestions for my case, assuming I need to go for bigger injectors?

You could just get some used 392 or hellcat injectors for pretty cheap. As for the tuning, can you post your file, i might be able to help find the parameter

    I agree with this…
Injectors from 392 are easy to dial in.

You can run injectors up to 100%, not the best but it works.
Otherwise you can raise fuel pump voltage/loss

    Hello James,

I was thinking about getting the 6.4 Injectors actually, and now you've made up my mind lol

You can find the tune file on the first post Thanks!

    Hello creek-ranch,

It's settled then 392 injectors ftw
But I think I don't have the parameter you mentioned as well.

Maybe you can steal it from a 392 file….mostly fits.

    Then dial in injectors

here is your tune with stock 392 injector data

also, thats alot of timing, are you getting knock?

I already have a stock 392 file, but it has a parameter called InjPW Vs FuelMass and I don't. That's why I was having trouble figuring this out.

I cannot see any changes made on the file you sent, I think some parameters are showing on your VCM editor that I do not have.

As for the timing, on part throttle condition I've logged knock sensor voltages around (0-0.3 V), WOT around (1.2-2.0 V) on 95 octane. So I'm not sure if I'm logging knock data correctly.

It should have that table or at least the inverse. Post both files here or email them to me. Email address in my sig.

You should be logging knock retard. Logging that and advance will tell you what you need to know.

Thats weird because i made the changes directly to your file. What version of hptuners are you using?

I will be attaching my files here. I am logging knock and advance and I did not find anything concerning. tbh I'm not 100% sure if I'm logging the data properly but everything looks fine.

You are right, I apologize to everyone for the confusion this is my fault as I forgot to switch the editor parameter view to advanced *facepalm*
