    Kick down adjustment

    Hello,

Not sure if this is where this thread goes.

    I have a 08 Pontiac G8 3.6ltr/4L60E.
In Australia its a VE Commodore.

It kicks down at 20-30 kms when it shouldnt be.
I bought it like that and thought a service may sort it out but it didnt.
    My question is.
Can this be adjusted through the ECU to kick down when supposed to at approx 70kmh?
Ive been advised to put in 98 octane and take it for a highway run.
I dont drive it much since i owned it.
Its supposedly because of the 91 octane that im using thats causing it and a possible low battery voltage.

    Thanks.
