I've "fixed" several shuddering 6l80's with hp tuners, but GM is really all I've messed with. I had a 2016 Explorer come in with a shuddering converter and pulled the stock file and it obviously looks way different than the 6l80 files. Has anyone had any luck turning off tcc in low gears, tightening the target slip, etc, like the 6l80s to fix a Ford shudder? If so, can you point me in the right direction? It looks like to disable converter in the stock file in certain gears, Ford put in a short 20 rpm window but Im not positive.
