Thread: afr fueling/ltft stft

    Fueling is off and does weird afr jumps. afr fueling/ltft stft

    can some please help me why my fueling is all over the place and my fuel trims are wacky
    no matter how much i change ve my afr jumps around whenever

    running a literal straight pipe no muffler
    not sure if air could be sucking back in and throwing my fueling off

    th350
    4 ft straight pipe running straight out off headers
    33lb injectors
    vaccum ref regulator

    long tube headers

    First off, you need at least 1 bend after the O2 sensors. Needs to be at least 45 degrees, 90 degrees would be better.

    Second, you need to know what "normal" looks like. Your AFR in closed loop is going to bounce around continuously. It's not going to stay stable. It's supposed to toggle lean-rich-lean-rich. Slightly below stoich to slightly above. That's normal. +25% LTFT is too far off but you can't make adjustments and expect them to be correct with just straight pipes.
