Thanks again for all the help. I wanted to follow up with the hope of helping someone reading this in the future.

First, I effectively disabled the Wheel Torque Error Max and Wheel Torque Error Impulse Max.
I was able to continue making changes to the MAF transfer function and successfully log, repeat.
I then logged the torque errors and noticed very little error and was able to reactivate them in torque monitoring.
Everything runs great with no more FMEM. I assume with the MAF showing more airflow than actual resulted in more calculated Brake HP than expected by torque monitoring. Once the MAF was within 1-2%, torque errors were very small.
