    2009 ZR1 E85 Impossible Cold Starts

I have a 09 ZR1 build that will not cold start and still has a rough warm start. Even once I do get it fired it will surge to the point of almost dying until it gets into CL. On pump it fires up perfectly. 427 engine, AHP heads, 244/266 620/600 121+5 cam, Kong 2650, Kong 5" intake, 1 7/8 longtubes, ID1300 injectors, and 103mm Nick Williams throttle body. Any help would be appreciated.

Your open loop EQ ratio table is stupid fat at low intake valve temps, like wash the cylinders fat.

I also do not think you have your injector data in there correctly. The flow rate isn't correct and you will have to scale the tune for the injector size.

Most people use the double stoich method. You'll double the stoich table, half the injector flow rate and half the IVT Terms. Currently your IVT Terms in zero and that doesn't look right.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

You can see if this one helps you any. The NW103 uses a stock ect scaler, so you might want to put that back to stock too.

Edit-5FDP caught a lot more things put in wrong than I did as I was only focusing on the E specific items - guess cranking air should have hinted to look elsewhere - oh well, so fix those too.

Injection timing is advanced a lot too. Might be why you had to add so much fuel to the open loop tables? Another one you might want to double check.

I'm not doing the tuning, I paid for this tune. I will try what you uploaded, thank you very much.

I forgot to mention that this is a speed density tune as well. With that said, isn't the EQ ratio table ignored?

This right here is the biggie. The entire tune is off due to the need to scale everything airflow-wise as opposed to halfing the stoich.

You eq ratio shouldn't be ignored even with speed density (unless I'm mistaken). That is your fueling target and your VVE table should get adjusted via wideband if your actual fueling doesn't match your eq ratio table

I think he's talking about the open loop EQ tables. Either way they're still used while in open loop whether SD or not. Yes to all the above. He needs to start over with injection and injector info corrected on top of correcting everything else. Disappointing he paid for this kind of work. I honestly thought it was someone starting out that did it. Didn't know it was someone that had paid for it.....

ohhh gotcha. Seems like there's alot of that going around lately. Paying a "pro" for a tune and it's complete crap
