    l83 swap idle issues

    i cant figure out whats happening. truck drives decent. its a 88 c1500 with a l83 swap with a psi harness and tune. truck drives decent fuel trims are about -10 but when coming to a stop it will start to struggle to stay running and smells super rich. it doesnt always happen so it had to catch on a log but does it more with the ac on. anyone have any ideas what to look for

    Not enough info really besides its a swap so you need to look everything over and the who tuned it part. No log and tune helps zilch. Did you replace with OE O2's?

    Pics under the hood with the MAF, intake tube and pcv system as focus too.

    Use these channels to log. Download - right click - show in folder - copy - open scanner - open recent channel config - open config - paste here then click on to open.

    New oem sensors . Also timing will go into the negatives when this happens. It just hard to log because some days it won't do it other day it does it all day. What should I log for though?

    How do I upload pictures here don't see a option. Maf is about 6 inchs away from the air filter and about a foot away from the tb. All pcv is to a catch can.

    Up top there's an insert image tab or you can go advanced and do it that way. Log and tune are must. Even a log without the problem with a cold start driving to hot idle can reveal a lot. Use the channels I posted. Should hopefully show anything needed. Make sure your wideband if you have one is showing up too.

    its been a while and it keeps getting worse. pulled the plugs and found #1 and #8 plugs where wet so i swapped out the injectors and still doing the same thing. here is a quick idle log and the tune in the truck right now. its a l83 with a lt1 intake and tb with a 6.6 cambad idle.hpltune 2 tb size fix 1.25 torque table 13.5v.hpt
