411 swap into 96 silverado. used lextechs pinout. 12200411 pcm.
used a 2002 express van OS to get it running. im getting a very very harsh 1-2 shift and no tcc lockup. getting p0717 code.
everything else is working just like it should be ive rechecked each wire thats for the trans. what am i missing

That is a transmission input shaft speed sensor code. What transmission are you using?
4l60E. I’m thinking I need to find a different tune to try. I tried to swap the 4l80E to 4l60E but that may be the issue.
No ISS on the older 60. Did you swap the trans diag segment too?
I did. That cured it
