i upped everything from 16 - 208 rpm by 25% was trying to shoot for halfway between factory and where they were at on last log. busy day no time to flash and log. does this look a little better or should i be closer to stock?

alright so i have an idle log from idle adapt. also, i have another version same idle adapt settings but i upped the rpm disable on the maf higher. i feel like idle is better with the maf higher than 400 rpms. also along with that i gave it slightly more final min airflow. attaching both tunes a logs. tried slightly more spark control than the two logs posted, but it shook more and seem like its in the wrong direction.. i honestly feel like i'm in over my head at this point...i should prob stop while my vehicle still runs lol.

    more research

had some free time at work today, read a lot about idle air flow and this and that. came across a post from some guys saying that not dialed in vve can affect idling as well. so i'll take some time and get vve closer to where its supposed to be then report back. i appreciate those of you that chimed in. if anyone is curious to see the vve i'll post the tune file up. focusing on 1400 and below at the moment.

Why are you dialing in your VVE with the MAF still enabled?

Was tryin the vve and maf at same time approach. Got the filter and all from cringer's Google drive, figured it was worth a shot.

I'm guessing this approach still isn't recommended ?

Idles a lot smoother now, no where near the amount of shake it had, idle hold steady rhythm now. Inn conjunction with the spark adaptive adjustment you suggested, at first just changing the adaptive helped, then started this method to adjust vve, on 2nd Rev it started to idle smooth

I still do it the old school way. Fail the maf, dial in the VVE, reenable the maf.

The trims look pretty tight. I'd recommend failing the maf and see if they remain the same. Other than that, looks and sounds like you're making progress.

Now go play in traffic LOL

i will fail maf as a sanity check here in a bit. so far seems to be working...i think.. i've got maf airflow dynamic af and vve air pretty close so far. picked up 2-3 mpgs in town so that cool.

it brings a few questions however. will i need to make changes to maf as i'm tunning vve? also, pedal seems a little lazy when stabbing throttle in park, is this normal?

got any feed back for a noob?

kinda wish i could change the name of this thread lol
