2005-2010 Mustang 3v blow through conversion tuning.

Hey all! I've decided to keep my Paxton 3V Mustang for the time being and I'm planning on converting to a blow-through setup next year now.

As far as tuning goes, is it all just tuning the MAF for the new diameter piping that's needed, or are there other parameters that I'm possibly not aware of?

    Thanks for your time!

Thats it. If its in the same size housing as it was prior you may not need to mess with it much.

If you were using the in maf IAT then you will want to adjust your act spark retard too.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply! It will be in a smaller housing, but I've also had the IAT relocated to the charge pipe since I installed the kit and got it tuned.

How much smaller? I would not recommend smaller. Larger if anything. A smaller tube will make it more likely that you peg the sensor. That's the whole reason for big MAF tubes.

It would be going from the 4" draw through MAF tube from the Vortech kit and being put in the 3" charge pipe with an HPX sensor. Would not be using the stock maf at that point.
