    C5 DBW to DBC

I'm swapping a C5 LS1 into an 88 RX7. I'm currently rewiring my harness and working on the fuse block. I have a C5 09354896 PCM and plan on converting from DBW to DBC since I already have a DBC throttle body (engine didn't come with a TB). I removed the 6 wire DBW TPS wiring and am now working in the new 3wire TPS sensor. I'm following the guide at
    HTML Code:
    https://lt1swap.com/cable_conversion.htm
. It shows that the 5V ref and low ref pins go to Blue 8 and 60 respectively, but for the blue/green PCM connectors. After the table showing the pins, Brendan says if converting DBW to DBC on red/blue connectors to the schematic he linked (also shown below). Reading this I see the sensor signal wire going to pin 24. I'm not sure if the other two pins go to the red or blue but my issue is that on either connector, the pins 46 and 54 are occupied. Right now this is what's in those pins:
    Blue 46: None
    Blue 54: MAP Sensor Ground

    Red 46: MIL
    Red 50: VSS Output
So I'm a bit confused where to pin the new 3wire TPS. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can the IAC pins go to Red 76-79 without any problems?

I read a couple posts around here about disabling ETC to make DBC work, so I'm hoping once I figure out hte PCM pins I'll be ready to rock n roll.

Good luck to you. You can't just flip a switch and change from drive by wire to drive by cable. You'll need to change operating systems. The rest of the car is gonna be very unhappy.

I suppose that's part of my question, what OS should I look into flashing? The lt1swap.com post made it seem straightforward but it looks like thats not the case. This is my first stab about this kind of thing, but looking at other posts it looks like its been done. It's just those threads don't really have an explanation of how the OP made it work

As long as it's in a swap car there's no problem. Trying to do it in a C5 you're asking for lots of headaches. There is nothing straight forward about that.

Oh I should have mentioned that! Sorry. I'm putting the C5 stuff into an 88 rx7.

I'm not sure what year your working on but chances are there is a FBC application with the ECM you are using.. Some/most of the 03-04 computers do not have IAC drivers.

So wire it like a 2002 F body for example. most of the harness is the same between the two.

Forgive my ignorance, what is a FBC application? This is a 2000 PCM and lt1swap does call out the 09354896 PCM as having the IAC drivers but I wonder if because it came from a Corvette (allegedly, got the block from eBay) if that is controlled by the TAC.

FBC.. fly by cable. same as DBC

If its a 2000 PCM it should have IAC drivers in it.

I'd wire it like a 2002 camaro/firebird. By far the best OS for swaps IMHO. The PCM will work even thought the service numbers are different. The ideal PCM would be a '411. but you should have no difference between the two. They are typically very cheap as they came in a ton of different applications.

Yep. Whole different ballgame there. And, like Alvin said 01-02 F body is going to be your best DBC operating system.
