hey anyone every ran across a e40 ecm missing the 1250159 code modification for the 2 bar. its not in the file nor is it loaded into it. the OS currently in the ecm is 12619014 any help would be great

How about you post this file you have the question about so someone else can look at it and see if they see the same thing you do?

12606494 is the 'normal' OS, 12619014 is an optional 'Select this operating system only to prevent C0244 at low ambient temperature' oddball.

i get its a odd OS only one other truck in my files have it

So I?m guessing the short story is that the patch isnt supported in this OS I?ll have to have flash it over.

Yep, SPS and Tech2/MDI/other J2534.

E40s are expensive, on cheap E38s it's less money to just buy a used one already VIN-programmed.

Sounds like you already got it figured out.. but yes two OS's in the 06. One doesn't have a 2 bar OS available.

We can SPS the ECM if you need.

quick update:

thanks for all the help. I swapped the the OS all is good now. hopefully this helps others as well
