im going to ask since were here already, reason im doing this is cause i already did a seg swap on this vehicle but after when trying to get on highway it went into limp mode and flagged the p0606 code and maybe thought i flagged the wrong compare in it but then i compared what i put in with what you sent and its exactly the same, any ideas?

Post your stock 5.3 file before the segment swap. Post the swapped file. Post a log file.

And maybe explain what work has been done and which parts from which vehicle/engine you used.

One of the most common causes of the P0606 DTC is when changes have been made to the Desired Throttle Area tables. If you changed them, put them back to the original values.

But, another cause can be segment swapping one of the HPT-accessible segments to one that's no longer compatible with the inaccessible ETC/TAC segments. Reverting the visible settings in the editor may not fix the part that's causing then to no longer work together, it could be background tables we don't have access to. Segment swaps are usually not the right solution to something straightforward like an engine swap from one LS to another LS.

I just noticed that he did a segment swap on it. This may not end well for him...

Still need a log file. The 'Details' tab in a log file is the only place (in HP Tuner-land, anyway) where the two TAC segment IDs can be read.

Do the tune files still have the vehicle's original VIN number?

If you do a compare of these 2 files, the ETC desired throttle area tables are drastically different. The tables in the "old" file look like the stock tables for that ECU. The "new" file is not.

This is from the repository. All I would recommend doing is using it for reference. Copy over the ETC tables and try it.
