first i want to say thank you to anyone who takes the time to check out this thread
i sadly posted this in the gen 3 by accident.

im new to this tuning and would like advice from more seasoned people
would just like to see what yall think i could change in the stock tune to get more pep out of this truck

only has a free flowing muffler everything else is completely stock. stock air intake and stock manifolds and cats.

There are a few things you can do to help out.
Disable the PE delay. Yours is at 1 second. Change it to 0.
You can add 1 or 2 degrees of timing. If you are running 87 octane, you'll only be able to run around 23 degrees total at WOT. Monitor knock retard carefully.
Add line pressure, and Reduce shift timing and torque management on the transmission.
If it's stock, you can increase the line pressure by 15-20%, reduce the shift timing to 0.25 secs and reduce TM by 50%.

I've attached my tune for my 2009 Sierra 4.8 4wd for 91 octane. It's been trial and error for me. I'm learning as I go.

If your going to add timing, don't add Globally to the table. Timing adjustment on a stock vehicle is pretty hard to play with, without a dyno. Id play the power enrich AFR's a little bit, but I wouldnt go crazy with either timing or PE if you tow a bunch. Thats where trucks get difficult to grab more power.
