    Keeping IATs down

I know its hot everywhere this year. We are staying in the 90s this week with heat indexes around 100-105. I noticed my IATs around 120 or so when first starting after the inital morning start. I run the K&N intake thats molded plastic. Is there anyway to keep the temps down? will wrapping it help any? different intake? thanks!

Quite a lot of K&N systems leak a ton of hot air from the engine bay. I prefer the sealed airbox intake kits.

Also. +10 degrees over ambient and a little more stationary is pretty much as good as you can get.

Nicely done. I like those. A little pricey but I can see the reasons for them being more money than typical CAI's.
