    30-0300 convert to prolink?

I have a 30-0300 that I have been using as a passthrough up until now and it's worked just fine. Today I moved my setup over to my C5 Corvette and it no longer picks it up through the scanner.

It looks as if it will only work with canbus vehicles and it doesnt look like the C5 qualifies. OK. If I'm wrong someone please let me know.

I still have my prolink cable from when I bought the MPVI 2+. I have no problem cutting off the OBD2 connector and converting it to use the prolink cable. If I do this, will it work with the newer gen iv ECM's as well or should I splice it in parallel to use either or?

Do any settings need to be changed on the gauge when converting to the prolink cable? I'm guessing at this point it will permanently communicate through the MPVI2 into the laptop via USB?

Did you mean 30-0334? Cause 30-0300 doesn't have the OBD passthru thing.
