    1999 Tahoe 5.7 transmission read problem

    I am working on a 1999 Tahoe that I recently purchased, the transmission locks and unlocks the torque converter at random times. I pulled the tune and all of the transmission info is at 256 for nearly everything in every map.
    Why is this happening? I've pulled 50 tunes and never had this happen.
    I even swapped all the info from another stock tune into this one and did a write entire and it did not take.

    What do you mean by swapped info from another tune. Did you go to Compare>View Comparison Log and copy over the changes from a stock tune? When you say it didn't take do you mean it finished, you test drove it, problem still their, so you download tune and it is back to the 255? Are you sure you are saving the "new" tune as a separate name and tuning it with that one? Are you sure your not accidentally picking the same "un-fixed" tune?
