    ghost cam tuning help!! Newbie

2019 F150 5.0 full-bolt-on with shorties and ported 18+gt mani. Tuned by a Great tuner but can't get hold of him anymore. I'm simply looking for someone to either guide me through the process or look at my file and adjust what needs to be adjusted. I'll pay for either the teaching process or the adjustments.

In optimum stability command a mapped point with a lot of overlap like -20/20.

In optimum stability I changed the 2 to 13 because -20/20 mapped vct points. During idle the mapped point 10 is being used 90% and mapped point 1 completing the rest. stays in those 2 mapped points

Make sure mp13 is enabled. Also you might need to change the 1 to a 13 as well.

There are some cam angle limits that need to be moved out of the way as well.

Also log vct mode to ensure it’s staying in optimum stability.

Still no change, I enabled mapped point 13 in snap to point and snap to line. Also raised the phasing limit for the intake and exhaust cam. Do i have to increase it in the combustion stability chart also?

Compare from original file to see changes. Let me know what else I'm missing.

Iirc there’s some exhaust cam limits vs eot and maybe intake vs mct and ect. Make sure those aren’t limiting it.

Ok, you have two issues to deal with:

    1. Commanding MP13 (-20/20) but it's going to -20/0. I recommended that you log VCT mode to ensure it's staying in Optimum Stability. Have you done this? I can't help but notice that the Fuel Economy index array sends it to MP10 if you command MP13. If it's in Drivability (Fuel economy) or Fuel economy (Best fuel economy) then it will only send it to MP10 if you command MP10-14. If it is, in fact, in Optimum Stability, then perhaps this particular OS is using the Fuel economy index array for optimum stability mode, in which case there will be another solution.

    2. Intake cam not going to commanded timing. Log the solenoid duty cycle to confirm that it's going to 0% duty cycle. If so, then there's a physical/mechanical reason it can't get there. If not, it's a tuning issue.

That said, something looks strange in your definitions. Many of the row axes are 0'd out and some of the rows seem to be out of order, like in ECM 38179, 38180, and 20609.

Sorry, forgot to mention that it indeed did go into OS mode at idle and after 1k-rpms vct mode goes to best fuel economy. I will log the duty cycle tomorrow.
