99 up transmission in 2007 4l60e

can i make a 2001 transmission work in a 2007 both have 5.3 4l60e , someone said the 07 has a internal ISS sensor, can that be tured off and make it work? thanks found one post and guy said he in trans diag he put p0717 low to disable and trans iss fitted to disable and said it worked fine but that was all i found

Yea you can disable a couple codes and such and it works fine.
