L67 Swap Issues/CASE Learn

Hi All,

I've been battling issues with my L67 swap in my Fiero. It is a rebuilt L67 with a PCM from a 1999 Buick century Custom 3.1L that has been reflashed by somebody else. I've been battling a full throttle misfire/shudder after hot restart. However, there is no misfire detected.

I figured best case I should run CASE learn but when I try to run it in HP Tuners it just says ON or OFF and never gives me a window to run it.

I've attached a log file where I go full throttle and it misfires/shutters repeatedly along with the tune file.

I've been at this for a couple years now trying to chase this issue and am really hoping the investment in the HPTuner helps out a lot. Still have a lot of research to do though...

Another issue I find is the catalyst DTC is never ready.

Show a pic of the On/Off you're talking about for crank relearn.

Here it is. The other functions contained within the window like disabling injectors seems to work fine....

No popup box comes up when I click it.

I tried a crank relearn today after having some issues, following hptuners... (P04 ecm like you)

Nothing happened. No prompts, no nothing. Just a on/off switch with no real confirmation if it completed or not

Youre supposed to turn the vehicle on with your foot on the brake, press the relearn, slowly rev it to fuel cut over a period of 4 seconds, hit cut, then let out and let it idle, and then turn it off.


Let the vehicle sit with key off for 15 seconds.
