    TPS A/D count clarification

I have a 2001 mustang gt (EEC-5) PCM. I turned my key on and checked the voltage at my TPS and this is what I got:

    Closed Voltage .98v
    WOT Voltage. 4.68v

My question is In my math based on that I took the closed value of .98v and added 2.71v to get a voltage of 3.69v. I read on a SCT (EEC tuning) thread, that is the formula to find WOT, take and add 2.71v to the known closed voltage and that is your reference to WOT.
    .98+2.71= 3.69
    1024/5=204.8
204.8 x 3.69= 755.12 ADC (WOT) reference in my tuning strategy

Any input is appreciated. I am trying to learn the correct way to tune so I am after solid numbers to start with. I really dont want generic numbers and If I intend on learning to tune, I?d like to do it the right way. TIA
